About me
After receiving his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1980, Dr. Max Bulmash completed his residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center, an institution known for excellence in the areas of infant and child care. In 2004, the Maimonides Medical Center became the first children's hospital in Brooklyn to earn accreditation from the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions. Dr. Max Bulmash’s then embarked on a decades-long career marked by a strong sense of dedication to his practice and a demonstrated desire to give back to his community. Dr. Max Bulmash volunteers with the Chevra Hatzalah Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the largest such organization in the United States. The Chevra Hatzalah Volunteer Ambulance Corps operates more than 60 ambulances in the Greater New York Metropolitan Area, as well as parts of upstate New York. The corps has earned fame for its extraordinary response times of between two and four minutes. Dr. Max Bulmash also works with the national nonprofit organization IPRO, which provides a full range of health care assessment and policy development services on all aspects of institutional policy.
